  • I was just looking at a post you had of A. Banks, and thinking of the contradictory elements surrounding her portrayal in the media and her support base. I am finding as I go around on a lot of the urban blogs there seems to be a modern-day witch hunt for her. I see her being called ratchet because of she artist who are horrible for the black community when she should be thanked. It seems to me that her biggest fans are gay white men and conscious anti-blackness black folk. What are your thought

    shes fucking genius. she has more talent on her lil pinky finger than most of the dude rappers out there and is giving out lickins all freely to most of the girls too.

    but shes a black woman. shes darkskinned. she doesnt play by politics of respectability. makes references to being queer. shes out here makin errbody and they moms look really bad, if you ask me, and shes at a particular intersection where she was gonna be a target no matter what she did.

    so the haters
